About us
The Samaritan Association of Sils im Domleschg was founded in 1941 and currently consists of 19 active members of various genders and age groups. The association holds monthly training sessions, to which anyone interested is welcome. The association offers special courses for the public, including first aid courses, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) courses, and first aid for infants and toddlers. In addition to training, the association also fosters camaraderie through annual trips, a summer get-together, and a St. Nicholas celebration. A younger group is "Help Sils iD and Region," the Junior Samaritans. These children learn the same basic emergency terminology as adults in a playful and age-appropriate manner once a month. The skills learned in the Samaritan Association can be applied at any time in private and professional settings to potentially save lives or prevent more serious incidents.
