About us
The Sils im Domleschg Samaritan Association was founded in 1941 and currently consists of 19 active members of varying ages and genders. The association holds a regular monthly training session, which anyone is welcome to attend without obligation. We also offer special courses for the public, such as first aid courses, CPR courses, and first aid training for infants and toddlers. In addition to training, social activities are also important to us, fostered through annual association trips, a summer celebration, and a St. Nicholas Day event. The skills learned in the association can be applied in both private and professional settings to save lives or prevent more serious incidents. Since 2006, the association has included its youngest members, the "Helpis," a group of young Samaritans. These children learn the same basic first aid skills as adults in a playful and age-appropriate manner. The Helpis also meet once a month for their training sessions.
