Stiftung Ecomuseum Simplon

The Association for the Promotion of the Simplon Foundation: Ecomuseum and Mountain Passes supports the Simplon Ecomuseum. The Simplon Ecomuseum sees itself as a landscape museum that illustrates the interrelationship between people and the environment in the Simplon region. It is interested in the natural environment as well as the historical context. The foundation aims to preserve and make accessible the remnants of the historical mountain pass landscape as well as the cultural and natural landscape. The supporting association assists with this through financial and public relations activities. Members of the supporting association are invited to the annual general meeting.
