Musikverein

The Sommeri Music Association is a brass band with currently twenty motivated musicians and a young average age of 34. We value the joy of making music together and strive to always be a little different from other associations. The association offers its members regular rehearsals every Thursday, where music, fun, and good cheer are paramount. We are active in the region and participate in various musical events, including district and cantonal music festivals. A key event is our annual musical performance in January. In addition, we foster camaraderie through shared activities such as skiing or sledding trips, as well as triennial music tours, which turn colleagues into friends. We also offer musical training in cooperation with the Rondo Music School and provide financial support for this. We are always looking for new musicians to strengthen our ranks and also offer support to beginners learning a brass instrument. The association is managed on a voluntary basis by a group of board members who oversee the association's direction. The Sommeri Music Association welcomes the support of passive members and patrons to secure the future of their hobby and acquire new music. Their target audience consists of music enthusiasts who enjoy making music in a dynamic community and performing regularly.
