Société de jeunesse "La Joyeuse"

The "La Joyeuse" Youth Society of Sorens is one of the most active in the village. Its aim is to foster friendships among young people and bring them together to share enjoyable moments. Members are actively involved in organizing various events throughout the year, both for themselves and for the residents of Sorens and the surrounding area. Activities include a play every two years, the traditional May Day carol singing, participation in the Gruyère Youth Gathering, a ski camp, an outing for senior citizens, the Saint Nicholas Day celebration, and a beer garden party. The society also organizes an annual trip to strengthen team bonds and explore new horizons. It also revives the traditional Christmas tree sale. The club invites all sixteen-year-olds from Sorens to join in September.
