Tambouren und Pfeiferverein Staldenried

About us

The Staldenried Drum and Fife Corps is an association dedicated to the art of drumming and fife playing. The origins of this tradition in Staldenried date back to the 19th century, with the association officially founded in 1904. The corps boasts a long history of uniforms, which have changed several times over the years. The current uniform is a Napoleonic-era design, a nod to its historical beginnings. The association owns its own instruments, including newer drums and fifes from 2010, as well as several corps flags, all acquired and maintained since its founding. Members meet regularly for rehearsals and participate in various events, both religious and secular, and are also active members of the Upper Valais Drum and Fife Association. The association comprises active members, honorary members, and a board of directors.
