Naturschutzverein Bachsertal

The Bachsertal Nature Conservation Association is a club strongly committed to nature conservation in its community. It promotes biodiversity and works to preserve the habitats of animals and plants. The association offers its members the opportunity to actively participate in nature conservation projects. This includes regular work sessions such as controlling invasive plant species or maintaining habitats. Members can also contribute to projects like the birdwatching trail or the maintenance of nesting boxes. In addition, the association offers public excursions and lectures. There is a special youth group called "Weasels" for children in grades 1 through 6. Through its membership, the association is ideologically and financially connected to the work of BirdLife Zurich and BirdLife Switzerland. The target group is anyone who enjoys nature and wants to contribute to the preservation of the flora and fauna and the landscape in the Bachsertal valley.
