Stadtorchester Frauenfeld

The Frauenfeld City Orchestra is an amateur orchestra founded in 1899. It is under the professional artistic direction of Konradin Herzog. The orchestra prepares two to three concert programs annually. These programs encompass musical works from the Baroque era to the modern day. Soloists regularly enrich the orchestra's performances. The City Orchestra also participates in cultural events in the city of Frauenfeld and collaborates with other ensembles. The orchestra offers the opportunity to play actively if you are proficient on a string or wind instrument and enjoy making music together. Those who wish to support the orchestra passively will be invited to concerts and informed about cultural activities. Musicians are sought who are interested in participating in classical symphonic works. The target group is musicians with string or wind instruments who enjoy playing classical music.
