Freie Bürgerinnen und Bürger Toffen (FBT)

The Free Citizens of Toffen, or FBT for short, is an association dedicated exclusively to the interests of the municipality of Toffen. It was founded to engage non-partisan citizens in local affairs and encourage their active participation. The FBT is committed to liberal values, tolerance, and freedom of thought. It strives for objective and balanced solutions for the benefit of all Toffen residents. The association's goals include promoting sound infrastructure, a progressive education system, and balanced municipal finances to ensure a high quality of life. The FBT advocates for key municipal issues such as safety, transportation, education, youth, and senior citizen policies, and aims to preserve the village character. The FBT offers its members a platform to participate in municipal political bodies and to shape local policy. A variety of events are offered to members and interested parties, including themed evenings, family gatherings such as Easter egg hunts or barbecues, and community activities like the annual Clean-up Day. The target group of the FBT are all citizens of the municipality of Toffen, especially those who do not belong to any party and are interested in objective local politics.
