Uniun da catschadurs Badus / Jägerverein Badus

About us

The Uniun da catschadurs Badus is a hunting association founded on May 23, 1943. Its aim is to support its members and foster a positive atmosphere by safeguarding the interests of hunters. This is achieved by maintaining the foundation for a successful and healthy hunting environment in the canton. The association is committed to the proper care and management of wildlife, particularly through the protection and enhancement of wildlife habitats. Furthermore, its responsibilities include collaborating on changes to hunting laws and regulations, as well as on other issues concerning flora and fauna. The association offers its members the opportunity to practice at its modern 100-meter shooting range and running range. In addition, the association organizes annual maintenance days and haymaking days. Regular shooting practice days are held before the start of the hunting season. The association organizes a general hunt in which all hunters participate, as well as a trophy evening and an annual general meeting. The association also organizes the St. Hubert's Mass with horn music.
