SAC Pfannenstiel (Schweizer Alpenclub)

The Pfannenstiel section of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) is an association that brings together over 1,800 enthusiastic mountain sports enthusiasts of all ages. The club promotes mountain sports in its various disciplines, such as summer and winter alpinism, hiking, and sport climbing. It offers its members a diverse program of approximately 200 tours annually. This program includes hikes, high-altitude tours, climbing tours, ski tours, and snowshoe hikes for all skill levels. The section also operates three mountain huts: the Sewen Hut, the Tanzboden Hut, and the Schesaplana Hut. There is also a special program for children and teenagers, the youth organization JO, which offers climbing training and tours. The section is also committed to the environmentally responsible and sustainable use of the mountains. The target group includes everyone who enjoys exploring the mountains in a friendly atmosphere, from beginners to experienced mountain sports enthusiasts, young and old.
