The Wushu Academy Switzerland is an organization dedicated to teaching Wushu, the Chinese martial art, and Taijiquan. It offers courses in both Wushu and Taijiquan. In Wushu, the official competition forms, particularly the northern style Changquan, as well as weapon styles such as saber, sword, staff, and spear are taught. The Taijiquan program encompasses various styles and forms, with Qigong being a regular component of the training. The academy caters to children from the age of five, as well as teenagers and adults who wish to practice Wushu either recreationally or competitively, up to the national team level. It also welcomes anyone who wants to learn the slow and joint-friendly movements of Taijiquan in a relaxed atmosphere. The academy also organizes training camps and special trips to China for interested participants. It has qualified instructors and offers medical care through its own physician.
