About us
The Unterseen Choral Society is an association dedicated to the performance of sacred and secular music. The choir was formed from the merger of the former Mixed Choir and the former Church Choir. It cultivates a broad musical repertoire, ranging from sacred and secular songs of various styles and eras to classical works, masses, and oratorios. Members rehearse and sing together to experience the joy of making music as a group. The choir regularly performs at church services, such as the Christmas Eve service in the Unterseen church. In addition, the Choral Society organizes concerts with diverse programs, either in cooperation with other associations or independently. Another important cultural commitment is the preservation of the vibrant Unterseen Easter Bunny tradition. The Choral Society welcomes singers of all ages, including those without prior musical experience, and is always happy to welcome new members and guest singers for special projects.
