CCG Conferenza Cantonale dei Genitori

The Cantonal Parents' Conference, abbreviated CCG, is an umbrella organization established in 1998. It serves as a point of contact for the Parent Assemblies and Committees of the Canton's schools. The CCG works to support and engage parent assemblies of primary and secondary schools. It provides support and information to the committees through regular newsletters. Furthermore, the CCG organizes public meetings to discuss important issues relating to parenting and school. It collaborates with other organizations working with families and young people to promote initiatives for them. The CCG also contributes to public debate through statements and interventions in the media and at cantonal institutions. The CCG's target audience is the Parent Assemblies of Ticino schools and all parents interested in school and parenting issues.
