Société d’apiculture du Jura-bernois SAJB

The Bernese Jura Beekeeping Society (SAJB) is a non-profit organization that brings together more than 150 beekeepers in the Bernese Jura. Its main objective is to ensure the long-term survival of the honeybee in the region. The association offers its members a variety of training courses, including basic courses for beginners and continuing education to enhance their skills. It provides a teaching apiary for sharing experiences. Members also benefit from theft and damage insurance, as well as a subscription to the Swiss Beekeeping Review. The SAJB also supports honey certification, offering dual certification: the Apisuisse Gold Label and the Grand Chasseral label. It provides a SOS Swarm service for capturing swarms. It is open to beekeepers of all levels, from novice to experienced, operating within the Bernese Jura region.
