Aktive Senioren Wädenswil

The Active Seniors of Wädenswil are a group dedicated to leisure activities for senior citizens. Founded in 1986 with the motto "Help for self-help" or "Seniors for seniors," the association offers its members a diverse program of activities. These include regular lectures on various topics such as health, travel, and technology. After the lectures, there is an opportunity for informal socializing over coffee and cake. In addition, hikes, excursions, and trips to the surrounding area are organized. Social games like Jass (a Swiss card game) and bocce are also a regular part of the program. The target group is senior citizens in Wädenswil. The association is managed by a team of volunteers. A one-time registration fee is charged, but there is no annual membership fee.
