The Wohlen Women's Association is a non-profit organization that has been committed to solidarity, community, charitable work, and integration for almost 140 years. Its goal is to launch projects and organize events that foster connections among the community. Its services are open to everyone in Wohlen, regardless of age or background. Among other things, the association offers a breakfast for single people to enjoy together. It supports the elderly through services such as senior care and mending. To promote integration, there is the "Café International" for people with a migration background and those interested in other cultures. For parents and young children, the association organizes the "1-2-3 Meeting" for playing and crafting together. Cultural events include the annual carnival celebrations for people with multiple sclerosis and senior citizens. The association also operates the "Tischlein deck dich" (Table, Set Yourself) distribution point to provide food to people affected by poverty. Cooking events under the name "Wohlen kocht" (Wohlen Cooks) are also part of its program. The association is aimed at all committed individuals who wish to support the common good in Wohlen, as well as all residents who can benefit from the diverse range of services offered.
