About us

The Pomy Yvonand School of Music, or EMPY, is a music school dedicated to musical education. It offers courses covering wind instruments played in brass bands and marching bands, as well as percussion instruments. For younger children, an introductory music course is available to provide an optimal start. Instruments taught include the cornet, trumpet, bugle, viola, trombone, baritone horn, euphonium, tuba, saxophone, flute, percussion, drums, and snare drum. The introductory music course is designed for children aged 4 to 7 and is based on a holistic approach to developing various musical abilities. Lessons are open to children from the age of 6 or 7, depending on the instrument and the child's development. The school also organizes events such as recitals and concerts and supports its students by providing information on music camps. The profits from their activities, such as the sale of apple juice, are used to reduce tuition fees to make music accessible to everyone.
