About us

The Zollikon Dog Sports Club is an active association founded in 1954 and a section of the Swiss Kennel Club (SKG). The club's primary goal is to promote and strengthen the relationship and bond between dogs and their owners. They engage dogs in motivating training to provide mental and physical stimulation, ensuring they are well-balanced in everyday life. The club emphasizes focused and enjoyable work with the dogs. They offer a variety of training programs. There are sport dog groups, such as Companion Dog Levels 1 to 3, as well as search and rescue dog groups for members with competitive aspirations. For owners without competitive ambitions, there is a family dog group where proper dog handling is practiced without the pressure of competition. Additionally, the club offers the JEKAMI dog training program, open to both members and non-members, which strengthens the human-dog bond. Outside of regular training sessions, additional opportunities such as tracking or field work are often offered. The club also organizes events and activities for members to get to know each other and network. The target group of the association includes all dog owners who are looking for meaningful activities for their dogs. This ranges from those who want to compete in companion dog sports or search and rescue dog trials, to owners who simply want to nurture their dog as a family pet without competitive ambitions. JEKAMI training is open to everyone, regardless of association membership.
