Roiano FC is a long-established neighborhood club from Albisrieden, bringing football enthusiasts from the region together since its founding in 1990. From our humble beginnings on the small football pitch in the heart of Albisrieden, we have evolved continuously, becoming a well-known local address in regional football. From the very first day, Roiano FC’s vision has been to build a team that reflects the identity of the neighborhood. As a purely amateur club in the early 1990s, we started out with a few players from the immediate area. We quickly learned that commitment, team spirit, and the involvement of the entire community are the keys to success. Our efforts soon paid off: before long, the club became known for its passionate performances on the field, as well as its welcoming culture for soccer-loving children, teenagers, and adults.

Today, Roiano FC competes in the second division and aims to continue fostering local talent within its ranks. Many of our players took their first footballing steps as children on the pitches around Albisrieden. Providing them with an opportunity to develop in their hometown club and maintain a high sporting level is our most important goal. Through ongoing training for our coaches and targeted support for up-and-coming talent in our junior teams, we offer a professional environment that caters to both ambitious players and those who simply enjoy the sport in their free time.

We place great value on strengthening our youth division and supporting the social development of young people. Beyond the purely athletic approach, our youth work is all about teaching values such as fair play, respect, and unity.
