About us

Station8 is a cultural hub under one roof. It functions as a gallery, a space for encounters, and a venue for music. The focus is on visual arts, and Station8 has quickly established itself as a leading address for ceramic art in Switzerland. Artists from various countries have exhibited their work there, including painters, sculptors, cartoonists, and woodworkers. In addition to the exhibition spaces, Station8 also houses the Lauschmittel Atelier, which serves as a showroom for high-quality stereo systems, a record store, and a meeting place for events and concerts. The gallery spaces can be rented by artists for solo or group exhibitions. Rental includes the use of the exhibition spaces, which can be divided by mobile partitions, as well as lighting and pedestals. Furthermore, tenants benefit from the team's expertise in exhibition organization, which is included in the rental price. The atelier can be used for bistro operations or to provide culinary accompaniment to an exhibition by prior arrangement. The target audience includes art enthusiasts, artists who wish to exhibit their work, visitors to cultural events, and lovers of high-quality stereo systems and music.
