Immerse yourself in the pulsating world of swing & bossa nova with the Patrick Joray Quartet. The band presents a varied program of jazz standards from the Great American Songbook and gems from the South American bossa nova and samba repertoire that will delight you. Patrick Joray is an honors graduate of the Jazzcampus in Basel. He was the winner of the Canton of Solothurn Music Prize in 2022 and the winner of the Kurt and Barbara Alten Foundation Prize in 2023. The band is complemented by the lyrical guitar playing of Samuele Sorana and two heavyweights of the Swiss jazz scene: Thomas Dürst (double bass) and Elmar Frey (drums).
