Exhibition "Nativity Journey"

Gathered from around the world, the 111 nativity scenes exhibited at the École Catholique du Chablais invite visitors on a journey to discover the "faces" of Mary, Joseph, the Baby Jesus, as well as those of all who, over the centuries, have paid tribute to this newborn. Across the globe, this birth marks the beginning of the common era on universal calendars.
A journey through nativity scenes, like traveling by plane or car: these nativity scenes reflect traditions and popular faith. Through their materials, colors, and choice of figures, they highlight the work of the artists and craftsmen who created them.
