Quarz - the folk music mountain crystal The folk music ensemble Quarz, consisting of Andrea Küttel (yodeling and bass), Florian Gass (Schwyzerörgeli), Emanuel Krucker (hammered dulcimer), and Augustin Martz (violin), was formed during their folk music studies in Lucerne. The musicians combine traditional sounds with new ideas and influences from jazz, classical music, and other traditions. Their repertoire mainly consists of colorful original compositions. Their music is like a mountain crystal: it sparkles and shines, stimulates the imagination, and allows thoughts to wander beyond the boundaries of everyday life!
