Le soleil nous inonde - Exposition temporaire

Possible solutions to the challenge of disappearing glaciers will be presented in the form of models and through an adapted mediation program.

Chapter 2 of our temporary exhibition, Le soleil nous inonde, offers some answers to the questions posed in the first chapter, Si les glaciers ne revenaient pas, presented in 2023.

This exhibition was built in parallel with the acceptance of the UNESCO file concerning the transmission of traditional irrigation in Europe as intangible heritage. This recognition has enabled us to forge important links with researchers in Switzerland and Europe around the question of heritage transmission and its resilience in the face of current challenges.

It is structured around two axes. The first focuses on highlighting the challenges of sustainability, and in particular on the three skills protected by UNESCO. Hugo Lienhard, a specialist model-maker renowned for his meticulous reconstructions, was called in to stage the show. The second is intended to enhance Chapter 1 of the exhibition by presenting visitors' proposed responses to the challenges presented.
