With Helen Frankenthaler (1928-2011), the Kunstmuseum Basel is showing a pioneer of abstract painting in spring 2026. More than fifty works show the creative power of one of the most important artists of the US post-war period. It is the largest exhibition of her paintings in Europe to date and her first solo exhibition in Switzerland.
