Jura Hike & Fly, Jura Hike & Fly, 1446 Baulmes
From May 3 to 5, walking and paragliding competition in the Vaud Jura.
Following on from the first editions, this event has several key objectives: to support the development of the sport at both national and regional level, to boost its visibility and reputation, and to pay particular attention to safety. Jura Hike & Fly welcomes a wide range of participants, all multilingual and all passionate about the sport of free flight.
The programme:
- On Friday 3 May, participants will set off from Baulmes in the morning to climb the Suchet, then head for the first bivouac in Couvet.
- On Saturday 4 May, they will first have to climb back up the Chasseron to be able to take off and look for the next beacons. The second bivouac will be at La Breguettaz, which has become a tradition for participants. This transition to the west will open up the atypical sites of the Vallée de Joux.
- Sunday 5 May will mark the final sprint back to Baulmes seven hours later, via the surrounding mountains.
Registration 2024 - SOLD OUT
Friday: start of the race at 10 a.m. with a finish in Couvet between 3 p.m. for the fastest and 7 p.m. for the last.
Saturday: start of the race at around 08:30 with a finish at La Breguettaz between 15:00 and 19:30.
On Sunday, the race will start at around 09:00 and finish in Baulmes between 14:00 and 16:00.
