Near Lake Neuchâtel, the village of Bonvillars hosts Switzerland's first truffle market every last Saturday in October.
Bonvillars is already famous for its wines, but now it's also famous for its truffle market! Quickly becoming a must, this event dedicated to the Swiss truffle brings together truffle growers, chefs, dog trainers and, of course, gourmands!
For an entire day, several kilos of truffles are sold to visitors, who learn more about this exceptional product thanks to conferences, demonstrations and, above all, tastings!
A much-appreciated moment for visitors, passionate trainers demonstrate the talents of their truffle dogs several times during the day.

From Yverdon-les-Bains SBB station
take the Postbus in the direction of "Gorgier",
line 630, stop on request in Bonvillars, lower village
or Postbus in the direction of "Provence".
