Engadin Festival 2026 in Celerina: Chiaroscuro Quartet Concert

Reformierte Kirche San Gian, Reformierte Kirche San Gian, 7505 Celerina / Schlarigna
For 85 years, the Engadin Festival has stood for world-class music in the Engadin region.
A "shock of the best kind for the ears"—nothing less awaits the audience at a concert by the Chiaroscuro Quartet, which has been performing internationally for 20 years.
They play Classical and early Romantic music on gut strings and with period bows, and are thus considered pioneers of authentic performance practice in classical chamber music.

Those wishing to hear the four musicians from Russia, France, and Sweden perform together would normally have to travel to concert halls such as the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, London's Wigmore Hall, or Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie. Audiences and critics alike are enchanted by their sound: "Here it's always about the whole picture, meaning: about the existential" (concerti).
