Exhibition by Muriel Jeanmonod and Christophe Bertschy

Musée du Vieux Pays-d'Enhaut, Grand Rue 107, 1660 Château-d'Oex
A magnificent exhibition showcasing the cut-outs made by two highly talented artists who are passionate about their art !
Muriel Jeanmonod, paper cutter.

There are two stages to her creative process.
It starts with meticulous photography, in which she looks for contrasts and details. She then uses computer processing to adjust shades and create depth. Finally, she cuts the images with a scalpel, playing with whites, blacks and greys. The end result is a captivating work of art, where every detail counts.

Christophe Bertschy
Designer, poster artist and paper cutter.

The multidisciplinary artist is unveiling a captivating new exhibition exploring two distinct facets of his artistic work.

The first section highlights his talent as a poster artist through a series of exceptional posters printed on canvas. These works reflect the singular creativity and aesthetic that characterise his poster work.

The second aspect, more unexpected and surprising, reveals his world of giant PixelArt. Using only recycled paper, the artist creates impressive compositions, exploring the symbiosis between digital technology and eco-responsibility.
