The centrepiece of this concert is Clara Schumann's piano trio, inspired by classical models, thus linking the works of Haydn and Robert Schumann. In between, we will experience the world premiere of a new short work by cellist and composer Giovanni Sollima, which the Trio Gaspard commissioned as a supplement to another part of its complete Haydn recording.
