Biennale de l’Art et de la Nature Urbaine - (re)connecting.earth (03)

18.05.2026
Comédie de Genève, Esplanade Alice-BAILLY 1, 1207 Genève
From April 29 to June 14, an artistic walk along the Voie verte from Geneva to Annemasse, exploring the natural resources that shape our daily lives.
The third edition of the (re)connecting.earth Biennial takes place from April 29 to June 14, 2026. It features an itinerary of artworks and discoveries on biodiversity, accompanied by workshops, conferences and screenings on the theme of natural resources. From the Eaux-Vives train station to the Comédie de Genève, the open-air trail follows the Voie verte to the Villa du Parc art center in Annemasse, where the exhibition continues.
From sand to gold, oil to water, farm animals and more, this edition of Sensitive Resources looks at the natural resources that are omnipresent in our daily lives. Based on field research, between local contexts and global issues, the artists explore the processes of extraction, circulation and use of minerals and other raw materials.
The exhibition features over 50 works - installations, sculptures, videos, photographs and artwork - by 20 Swiss and international artists. It also includes existing works, some already produced and some forgotten, and invites visitors to explore this cross-border territory on foot or by bike.
