Singing, rapping, rockin' and acting: the coolest musical holidays for kids between 6 and 12 this side of the alps!
It's Springtime and everything is beginning to bloom!
Kids between the ages of 6 and 12 are welcome to join us during the first Spring Holiday week in creating a very special musical experience - including an ultra-cool musical show on the Friday evening!
Your children will be with us daily from 9am until 4:30pm and will get a cooked lunch every day. During the week we will teach the children all kinds of great singing and rhythm practices, play some instruments together, do lots of acting and theatre and craft our own stage decoration together! The goal of our week will be to put together a musical extravaganza which will be performed on the Friday evening!
Our Holiday Camps have always been a big success and a fantastic experience for your kids: creativity is nurtured and inhibitions are overcome in a warm and friendly environment. Authentic singing lessons and musical guidance are not only fun, they are highly educational as well! Rhythm and rapping are big features in our programmes as well, and if it all gets too exiting, don't worry: we even do some musical meditation and yoga every day!
SongCamp is more than just a Children's Choir: the founders and instructors are Szabina Schnöller - a professional PhD Classical/Opera-singer and vocal coach - and Mike Pehrsson - a Rock/Pop studio musician, multi-instrumentalist and music teacher. Both have twenty years experience each on stage, in studios and as musical teachers for kids. Our biggest wish, is that the children love the music we take on with them! Lots of theatre (both Szabina and Mike have a deep background in Drama), instrumental jams and even some songwriting come into the mix as well!
The Camp takes place in a beautiful and safe place, the upstairs hall of the Kindergarten Büchsenschmitte in Herrliberg. There is a lovely and large playground just for us.
