A 120 min DJ-facilitated dance Journey to a varied mix of music: world beats, electronic, house, and hip-hop, among others. Dance in a safe space to free your mind and body and feel a part of it all.
Ecstatic Dance Berne's co-founder and resident Dj PADMA SAM (AKA Robb Correll) will facilitate our dance journey. Robb brings all his skill and knowledge as a classically trained singer as well as years of experience as a professional theater director and ritual facilitator to the creation of his transformative Ecstatic Dance mixes.

The word ‘Ecstatic’ comes from Greek ‘ek’ (out) and ‘sta’ (to stand) and can be taken to mean ‘to stand outside of oneself’. Ecstatic Dance is way of getting out of your mind for a while and into your body.
Most English language dictionaries define ‘ ecstatic’ as “feeling or expressing overwhelming happiness or joyful excitement”. Ecstatic Dance is actually a way to practice welcoming ALL emotions and giving them physical expression.
