Dream Acapulco – Comedy in three acts

The year is 1980. Toni Martens (Jürg Feuerstein), a passionate tinkerer, hopes that one of his inventions will one day allow him to travel to Acapulco. His "selfless" neighbor Näpfli (Peter Fritschi) supports him to the best of his ability, providing him with plenty of food. Neighbor Hermi (Kurt Neeser) has little interest in the "inventions" and would much rather go fishing with his friend Toni every day. Suddenly, however, the dream of Acapulco seems to be unexpectedly fulfilled thanks to THE invention. The spoiled sister Margot (Denise Candraja) and her boyfriend Leo (Carlo Decasper) are already spending the anticipated large sum of money lavishly. When the check fails to arrive, great disappointment and lamentation erupt. Unexpectedly, Toni's wife Luise (Dora Langhart), who doesn't want to fall for a mysterious caller's tricks a second time, finds herself reunited with what she thought was lost happiness, much to everyone's relief.
