The St. Cassian People's Run is already in its 52nd year and up to 300 runners take part each time.
It is already the 52nd time in the history of the cross-country skiing club Bual Lantsch/Lenz that the St. Cassian People's Run is organised.
The 2025 event will not involve any major changes. As in previous years, both cross-country skiing techniques, skating and classic, can be started.
Exceptionally, the race will take place in January and on a Saturday due to the Biathlon World Championships which will be held in February.
While the youth categories will cover between 1.5 and 9 kilometres, the women's category will cover 9 kilometres and the men's category 15 (or 8 classic) kilometres. Around 300 runners are expected to take part, two-thirds of whom are young athletes.
For the youth categories, participation in the Volkslauf St. Cassian is particularly interesting because it is part of both the Raiffeisen Nordic Cup and the Cargo Grischa Cup.
