The exhibition presents the winners of the international competition created to promote new trends in art photography among young talents from around the world.
The 2025 edition saw the participation of over two hundred young photographers from thirty-five countries, with strong representation from Italy, China and Australia. An international jury composed of photographers, historians and photography critics awarded ex aequo first prize to Nurlana Udovenko (Ukraine, 1997) with a project on the theme of boredom and to Titas Valionis (Lithuania, 2000) with a photographic series on the aerial evolutions of parkour. Next came Mariangela Pfahler (Germany, 1998) with an abstract work on the ambiguity of perception, and finally Anouk Andrea Boni (Italy, 2002) with a portfolio exploring the tree as a witness of time. The candidates, aged between 18 and 30, submitted their projects consisting of 10 images on a theme of their choice, consistent in style and content. The exhibition presents six images from each portfolio, accompanied by a description of the project and biographical notes on the artists. The complete portfolios submitted to the competition are published in a bilingual Italian/English catalogue.
