With Anatomy of Silence, Estopia presents Diana Serghiuță’s first solo exhibition in Lugano – an exploration of the relationship between body, memory, and perception.
Serghiuță examines the fragile architecture of the psyche through a visual language that suggests more than it depicts: forms emerging as emotional deposits, identities in transit, images becoming thresholds or echoes. Her practice, positioned between contemporary figurative expressionism and neo-surrealism, probes what remains when the visible begins to fracture.
Born in Brașov in 1985 and based in Arad, the artist develops a precise and restrained vocabulary that turns gesture into a poetic yet disquieting space. Anatomy of Silence unfolds as a map of presences and absences – an invitation to a slow, attentive gaze where material and emotion quietly overlap.
