The Jacomet-Rachide duo with Chiara Jacomet (vocals) and Samir Rachide (trumpet, flugelhorn) perform folk songs in a surprisingly unconventional way. They reduce the pieces to the essentials without sacrificing expressiveness. This minimalist yet intense approach lends the traditional melodies an intimate, emotional depth that speaks directly to the listener - sensitive, expressive and full of emotion.
