2026 UEC MTB European Championships

The Canton of Ticino and Switzerland are preparing to host for the second time in a few years one of the most prestigious events on the MTB calendar. In the last week of July, Monte Ceneri will once again welcome the MTB European Championships, opening the competitions on Thursday, 30 July with the spectacular Short Track races. A fast, thrilling and adrenaline filled format that allows the public to follow the champions closely for several laps in an intense twenty-minute challenge. The event will reach its climax on the National Day weekend, Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 August, when the main races will take place, ready to deliver a great show. The best bikers of the continent will battle on one of the most technical and fascinating courses of the entire international MTB circuit. It is on these very trails that Filippo Colombo grew up, a local athlete born just a few minutes by bike from the course. With the support of the whole Canton and of an entire nation, he will have the opportunity to experience a moment filled with meaning and to write a new page of history.
