With many unused tracks from the songbook, he found his way to the studio and began recording his first original songs - without a band. Just him and a handful of guest musicians. He still thanks his father today for giving him the first AC/DC record. Having gained a lot of experience on tour as the frontman of the band Axid Rain, Mense released his first own album "Joy In Solitude" in the summer of '21.With his first guitar on his lap at the age of 14, he founded his first and still active rock band Axid Rain. They have toured extensively and played festivals time and again. They released two albums on their own label, Flatrock Records, which also released Mense's album in summer 2021. He also attracted attention as lead singer of the cover oldie band Gerry & Friends, before founding his own rock cover band The Pubflies as bassist and singer. In 2020, he went into the studio to record his own songs. Between club and pub gigs, he released new singles in 2022, most of which he recorded and mixed himself.Since focusing solely on music in August 2022, he has rented out his house and now lives with his wife in a motorhome, touring all over Europe to live his dream.
