"Light of assurance and hope"
On Saturday, 10 January, at 5 p.m., the trio "Werte Herren" will open the 2026 serenades in the French Church in Murten. Rev. Andri Kober will read appropriate texts.
The three musicians have known each other very well for decades and have been performing again in their original line-up since 2018. Their work has changed during this time: perhaps due to their advancing age, the lyrics seem even more grounded in life and its experiences. Nevertheless, they remain true to their roots.
Rolf Gubler (vocals, guitar, harp), Kurt Küng (vocals, guitar, piano) and Tinu Simmen (vocals, guitar, mandolin, bass) invite listeners to welcome the new year with confidence, hope and serenity with their songs in dialect.
