Tour de Suisse in Villars-sur-Ollon

Come to Villars-sur-Ollon for the must-see event for cyclists.
This year, the Tour de Suisse will be present in three of Switzerland's language regions. The stage towns offer an exciting route and a variety of topographical challenges for the riders.

The national loop of the men's race starts in Vaduz and finishes in Villars-sur-Ollon, while the women's race starts in Villars-sur-Ollon.

PARKING INFO
Additional roadside parking on Avenue Centrale de Villars in Arveyes will be authorised and supervised by five Securitas during the two days of the event.

---- DAY OF 15 JUNE ----
ROAD CLOSURES
- The Aigle - St-triphon - Antagnes - Villars road will be closed to traffic between 10.30am and 1pm and from 1.30pm to 5.45pm. The road is closed from the centre of Aigle towards Bex (via the cantonal road in front of Perrossalle) as far as Villars and the Col-de-la-Croix (then Les Diablerets and back to Aigle). Cyclists turn off at the entrance to Bex towards Antagnes and rejoin the main Ollon - Villars road at the "Antagnes" bus stop on route 144.
- In Villars, it is not possible to use the Avenue Centrale from Chesières to Rochegrises via the Avenue Centrale. Residents of Chesières can use the Chemin des Râpes to get to Villars, then take the diversion towards Barboleuse - Gryon - Bex.
- The Col de la Croix road is closed. People wishing to go to the Golf course can take the train.
- In Ollon, it is possible to move around freely in the village, but take care if you are heading towards Aigle, Villars or Bex.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
- 162 Les Diablerets - Villars-sur-Ollon: the line will not operate on 25 May 2024. The Villars-sur-Ollon - Solalex section will continue to operate throughout the day at the usual times.
- The replacement bus between Villars and Barboleuse will continue to run on the two days of the event according to the general timetable.
- In general: Due to the Tour de Suisse, road traffic will be disrupted between 10am and 6pm on Saturday 15 June 2024. During this period, delays are to be expected and connections will not be guaranteed. We thank you for your understanding. Timetable available online at tpc.ch or cff.ch.

ROAD CLOSURES
- The main Aigle - Ollon - Villars road will be closed to traffic from 8.30am to 5.30pm. The road is closed from the World Cycling Centre, through the village of Ollon, to the Place du Rendez-Vous in Villars.
- In Villars, anyone wishing to drive their vehicle at these times must go via Villars - Barboleuse - Gryon - Bex. Vehicles coming from the Col de la Croix can go as far as the centre of Villars and cross it without any problem in the direction of Gryon - Bex. Work on the Villars - Barboleuse bridge is still continuing. A replacement bus (Villars Gare - Barboleuse) will be provided as there will be no train service between 27 May and 7 July.
- It is not possible to cross the village of Ollon from top to bottom during these hours. Residents of the "upper" village can go via Verschiez and residents of the "lower" village can go via St-Triphon.
