Fantarca

In the book, the world is split between followers of the Square and the Triangle, a metaphor for ideological divisions. The exhibition reflects this idea by presenting only square-format works by the artists, paired with a digital print of the same piece cut into a triangle, showing how meaning persists even when form changes. Participating artists include Chuck Drake, Martin Lechner, Paola Alborghetti, Domenico Asmone, Philippe Chitarrini, Michele Lombardelli and Albano Morandi, offering varied approaches through material, gesture, colour and conceptual reduction. A 1966 RAI film inspired by Fantarca is screened continuously, creating a dialogue between its black-and-white imagery and the colourful surfaces of the paintings. The exhibition invites viewers to transcend divisions through the power of art.
