The NIFFF (Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival) returns to La julienne between March and May 2024 for a third edition. The only festival in Switzerland dedicated to this cinematographic genre, it invites you to discover productions from the four corners of the globe. Whether they are science fiction films, thrillers or comedies, imaginary characters or ectoplasms, immerse yourself in the strange world of contemporary fantasy cinema.

In the Quebec countryside, the three female generations of the Messier family are affected by a tragic family accident. One of them feels constantly threatened and goes so far as to believe that their house is haunted. These supernatural incursions provoke distrust within the family, but do not break their strong ties. “Borders” paints a gripping and nuanced portrait of strong women; a dramatic story that lets stunning protagonists shine.
