The Biennial is aimed at professionals in the field as well as the general public, curious to understand what lies behind a poster, a book cover, a typographic typeface or a spatial orientation system. By highlighting graphic design practices, UPLOAD aims to promote designers, while opening up a dialogue on the role and future of the profession: where does the graphic design profession stand today? What are its challenges, its mutations, its urgencies?
