In the "Snow Safety Basic" avalanche course you will learn the basics of white matter.
With the help of the latest interactive presentations from "whiterisk" by the SLF and our practical lessons, you will learn the most basic elements of avalanche awareness.
The avalanche transceiver search facility is right on our doorstep, where you can practise avalanche searches on a one-to-one basis.
On a short application tour there is enough time to determine expositions, steepness and snow types.
What can you do afterwards... The aim of this course is to better understand the interrelationships of avalanche-forming factors, to correctly read and interpret the avalanche situation report, to read simple snow patterns and to recognize danger signs. To solve simple tasks with the avalanche transceiver.
Course duration: 2 days
Requirements: The avalanche courses are designed for all snow sports enthusiasts. Whether you are a snowshoer, ski tourer, snowboarder or freerider, you need to be equipped to spend 2-3 hours in deep snow.
