A journey back in time to the year 1620
On Saturday, September 27, 2025, the Ecomuseum Association invites you to a cultural hike along the historic valley trail through the Gantertal valley. Exciting stories about the witch trial await you on the guided hikes. The day will end with a raclette together.
Program
We travel back in time to the summer of 1620 and set off to learn about the events in the Gantertal at the beginning of the 17th century and follow the witch trial of the unfortunate Magdalena im Agar. Exciting short presentations, installations and scenic presentations await you on your way through the Gantertal - from the cemetery to the place of execution. The tour ends with a cozy raclette at the sawmill of the Brigerberg/Ganter forestry operation.
