This play is a fragmented adaptation of "Sallinger" by Bernard-Marie Koltès. A soldier wanders among the customers of a restaurant.
The USA is on the eve of the Vietnam War, and he will soon be drafted. Faced with death, his urge to live springs up, often uncontrolled. He launches into rants and raves to counter the urge to smash windows, jump out of windows and run outside. He is joined by other characters, either close friends or chance passengers. Together, they tell the story of love, power struggles, deserted streets, the quest for desire and identity.
