Here, three medieval re-enactment enthusiasts indulge in their favourite pastime: encasing themselves in armour and skewering boars. They revel in the décor of a shoddy inn, before taking on each other in an equestrian joust, their stomachs in knots with battle jitters. They organise these medieval events with conviction; projecting themselves into another era allows them to transcend their everyday lives. Around the table, Marc Donnet-Monay, Vincent Rime and Philippe Soltermann are our Sunday knights, offering us a moment of pure comedy.
